Jesy Nelson is stepping away from the spotlight.

The former Little Mix member had been firing from all cylinders with her solo music – first going the major label route in 2021 with her UK top 5 charting track ‘Boyz (ft. Nicki Minaj)’ and then pressing on as an indie act after “parting ways” with Polydor (after just 14 months).
2023 brought with it another release in the form of ‘Bad Thing’ – which charted at #17.
Rather than take another swing of the bat in the here and now, Nelson has announced that she’s taking a career break.
Via Instagram, she shared the following message with fans:
“Hey guys! So for a long time I’ve really wanted to go traveling but never had the time to do it. I’ve got some really exciting things coming up with work and my music, but until then I’m gonna take the summer off to travel the world.
I’m going to be off my social media for a while. I love you so much and I’ll see you when I’m back.”
